The final Castleton Elementary School Monthly Assembly of the 2023-2024 School Year is on Wednesday, June 26. There is only one assembly for all K-6 students this month and it is in the large gym starting at 8:20 AM. If attending the assembly, please arrive at the CES Main Office first. Part of the monthly assembly will include Castleton Elementary’s annual Children with Hair Loss Haircutting Drive. See below for more information about participating if interested.
Children with Hair Loss Haircutting Drive
On June 26, 2024, CES will hold its end-of-year haircutting drive benefitting Children With Hair Loss, a not-for-profit organization that provides free wigs and hair maintenance for children up to age 21 who suffer from hair loss. Everybody (students, parents and community members) may participate if they have a minimum of 8-10” of hair to donate.
If you or your student is interested in participating, return the permission form here and the donation form here to Mrs. Herron at CES by Tuesday, June 25. Participating adults only need to return the donation form.
