The CES PTO is hosting a Virtual Science Club for Grades 3 through 6 via Zoom.
Grade 3 through 5 will meet on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for 6 meets.
Meets: Properties of Matter, Magnets and Static Electricity, Information Transfer, Sun and other Stars, Earth’s Orbit and Rotation, and Moon and its Phases.
Grade 6 will meet on Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for 3 special meets.
Meets: Newton’s Law of Motion, Atoms & Molecules, Properties of Elements
Deborah Lane and Jenna Hoffman will act as the moderators for each event. The event will begin with a short video followed by a group Kahoot quiz. Students will then be asked to work on their project independently and post their results on the the CES PTO Facebook page. Parents and guardians are asked to assist their student. We will include printed instructions for reference with each kit.
